Welcome To
Little Barn Preschool

Where children learn, explore, play, and create

Little Barn Preschool offers a unique educational experience to children two to five years old. Located on five acres of land, our school allows students to immerse themselves in gardening and to create loving relationships with our farm animals. Our discovery-centered curriculum encourages independent learning through hands-on, age appropriate lessons. We focus on teaching fundamental skills in a supportive, cozy, home-like space where students feel connected to the farm surroundings. Above all, we value the child recognizing that each learning experience is special and unique.

Emily Morrill

Director and Founder

Emily Morrill grew up in Connecticut, moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2009. She attended Montana State University and graduated with a BS degree in Elementary Education and a focus in Special Education. She subsequently taught several subjects in Belgrade Middle School including math, science, and STEM. With an enthusiasm for and dedication to education, Emily wanted to create a preschool that prioritizes Kindergarten readiness and early childhood life skills in a loving environment. She has taken her experience and education and applied them to the creation of Little Barn Preschool.
